Thinking about Spring ...

What's not to love about this gorgeous sunshine! It is time to break out the Spring skirts, shorts and sandals and get body ready to enjoy the warmth. My cosmetic bag is packed and treatments booked for the season, so let me share what's inside ...

Coola mineral tint matte

My Reniu sugar rub is my "go to" product for exfoliating dead skin and unblocking pores with its sugar cane crystals and then nourishing and hydrating the skin with the coconut oil base. I team it up with the body butter for deep moisturising, especially if I'm preparing for a spray tan. Speaking of which, spray tans start from $25 for legs only or $40 for a full body spray, fabulous value to look and feel great. Exfoliate again four to five days after your tan to prevent patchiness.

After tanning, I recommend maintaining your colour with St Tropez everyday gradual tan lotion. Tanning goes hand in hand with hair removal and although it is not ideal to have waxing and tanning done at the same time, they can be booked a day or more apart. If you prefer to DIY, we have a range of Nair products in store but do try Avene thermal water spray as a spritz to take down inflammation after hair removal, it's magic!

It's around this time each year I treat my hair to a little TLC and use the Argan Oil again to protect every strand from styling and UV damage and seal in the shine. A sunscreen is always in my cosmetic bag to protect my skin too - the Skinnies is a great range for long wear for the family but I love the Coola BB cream for my face. The matte tinted formula is enough on it's own for casual days and great under make-up for more dressy days.

Now for the nails! If the peep toe shoes are making it out of your wardrobe, it's time to book in your pedi. 30 minutes, $35 for an express pedi and we'll have you walking out in style. Or indulge in the deluxe for an hour of pampering. With a variety of manicures to choose from, gel nails or acrylics are the way to go for long lasting colour or add a pop of colour at home with OPI lacquers. My secret tip for DIY'ers is to try the Scholl velvet electric foot file for removing dead skin on the feet, leaving them feeling so much softer.

Cailyn Spring make-overs are still available as an opportunity to revitalise your look or prepare for a special occasion. Allow 40 minutes and we'll sit down and try the range and some new colours. The cost is $40 and refundable against a Cailyn product purchase so you really can't go wrong.

Enjoy Spring, we'll see you soon
